This week has been unbelievably hectic and I hardly had time to take any photographs. It was generally just before the kids' bedtime when I grabbed my camera to find a shot for the 365 Day Photo project. As a result most of the photos have been of my boys. This afternoon was the first time I managed to venture into the garden with my camera. Just before school started Reuben and I planted some flowers in pots on the front porch. I was amazed at the shots I got just playing around.
There are a few Masked Weavers building nests in one of the trees in our garden. At the moment there are three nests. The male builds the nest and if the female doesn't like it he tears it down and starts again. You can read more about it here. The females in our garden are clearly very particular as quite a few nests have been torn down! The wind was blowing quite strongly making it nearly impossibly to get a shot of the nests. This was the best I could do.
