| 1. Complete a 365 day photo project. Registered on 365Project.org on 15 October 2012 and have been uploading a daily photo ever since. Nearly fainted when I got my first comment. Never thought anyone would even notice my photos. I now have four followers and receive regular comments on my photos. Loving it!!!! Currently on: 26/365 | |||||

| 6. Finish admin and filing by the end of the week. Not doing too great on this one. Will work hard at it in the coming week. 2012-11-03 Had a great week when it comes to admin. Not only did I get a lot of things sorted we are also getting some money back!!! Yay!!! 2012-11-10 Worked hard on admin but really feel as if I got no where. 10. Blog at least 2 times a week. Since creating this blog on Sunday 14 October 2012 I have managed to publish posts every day. Even if it was just my quote of the day and the 365 Day Photo Project daily photo. Very proud of myself!! | 12. Organise a Christmas Shoebox project Christmas for at least 10 kids 2012 / 20 kids 2013 / 40 kids 2014 Need to get moving on this one. Have identified 13 children with the help of the lady who works for me. Have also started collecting boxes and have a preliminary list of what I would like included in each box. Created a page with their photos and ages. Have started contacting potential sponsors. So far have sponsors for 4 children besides the ones we as a family are going to sponsor. 2012-11-03 Going great have sponsors for 11 children only two more to go. Need to complete the list of what needs to go into the box today. 2012-11-10 Posted list of what needs to into the box on Shoebox page. Still don't have sponsors for the last 2 children. | |||||
| 13. Record at least one thing I’m thankful for every day on Happy Rambles. Have been keeping this up. Some days I fall asleep before the e-mail arrives but then I catch up the next day. 2012-11-03 Up to date and even logged on and checked that I haven't missed a day. 2012-11-10 Up to date just have to still post last night. Fell asleep before the e-mail arrived. | |||||

24. Declutter. Give away or sell everything I don’t currently use or need - Reduce everything by 20% if possible i.e. get rid of 1 for every 4 I keep. Have been chipping away at this slowly. But slow and steady wins the race. I try to declutter (get rid of) at least one thing a day no matter how small. 2012-11-03 Not a bad week as far as decluttering goes. Starting to get over the "what if I need it one day" syndrome. If I haven't used it in years what is the chance of ever needing it? Among other things got rid of: Baby toys and toiletries and too small kids' clothes. 2012-11-10 | |||||

52. Learn ten new things. Can honestly say I am learning new things about photography and blogging on a daily basis. What qualifies as a "thing" I am not sure. Now realising that some of my 101 in 1001 goals are a bit vague. Will have to give it some thought and edit it. Am also learning so much about gardening and flowers from my neighbour, Andre. Have been looking up the flowers I have been photographing on the net to learn more and am busy with some posts about it. | |||||

55. Draw up and work on a "Bucket list" of things to do before I turn 50 and before I die. Planning to create a seperate page for my "Bucket list" but am definitely adding a trip to Namaqualand to see the flowers. | |||||

| If I am honest this goal is definitely not enough of a stretch. I probably should change this to every week or at the least every two weeks. Scriptures I have memorised so far: Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." 64. Only buy clothing I am truly in love with. | |||||
